Liturgy
St. Joseph the Worker Liturgy Group
Representatives of those preparing children for the Sacraments of Eucharist, Confirmation and Reconciliation, and others concerned with the Choir, plus Ministers of the Eucharist and Readers, form the nucleus of the group.

All are concerned with the celebration in a meaningful way, in the Eucharist, the special times of Easter and Christmas and their preparatory season of Lent and Advent.

Everyone should experience ongoing formation concerning Christ’s life, death and Resurrection.

We are never too old to learn, to reflect, to pray.

Meetings
The Group meets about three times a year in the Parish Room. (See Parish Newsletters) for details of meetings.

Aims to share with parents (their involvement is essential) the responsibility and privilege of providing catechesis and religious education for their children, in preparing them for reception of the Sacraments.

To ensure that the offices required for the celebration of the liturgy are suitably filled and that we are up-to-date with any developments in liturgical matters.

To encourage as many people as possible to share in the celebrations, especially by supporting prayer and positive encouragement.
